Professional Counseling
The Counseling and Care Ministry of the Bethel United Church provides
professional counseling in the form of individual, group, career,
guidance, family and marital therapy to those who are seeking
strengthening, restoration and healing for their lives. We work
with children, adolescence and adults. The counseling is provided
by Trained and Professional Counselors who have garnered years
of experience working with those who are challenged.
The current Counselors are:
- Rev. Leo C. Hall, BA-Theology, Dip. Pastoral
Ministry, Cert. Pastoral Counseling (Director)
- Rev. Donald Williams, MA-Theology, BA-Pastoral
Ministry (Counselor)
- Mrs. Dawnette Lewis, BA-Guidance and Counseling,
Dip. Education (Counselor)
- Mrs. Annette Hall, BA-Guidance & Counseling,
Dip. Education (Counselor)
- Pastor Lambert Smith, Dip. Pastoral Studies,
Years of experience as a Police Officer (Counselor)
- Plus a host of Psychologists, and other Psycho-Therapists
at our disposal for Psycho assessment and referrals
Counseling Environments
We would like to inform you of our newly built facility, built
with special care to facilitate counseling. This Counseling Room
provides an air-conditioned, family and friendly atmosphere which
is to support group, family, marriage and individual counseling.
Counseling Fee
The counseling fee is only a minimal One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00)
per session. This can be paid through the secretary upon the making
of your appointment or upon arrival for therapy.

Drug and Alcohol Recovery
12 step Christ-centered
teaching for those struggling with the bondages of alcohol or drug
use/abuse.
Post Abortion Support
(Forgiven and Set Free)
Healing for those who have had anabortion.
Parent Group
Support
group for parents with children diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder
or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity.
Women to Women Support Group
Support ministry for women, hope, healing and life struggle issues.
Depression Group
Education to help identify the signs and symptoms of depression and what
to do to find joy again.
Anger Management
Counseling sessions designed to help understand the causes of anger and
what to do to control it.
Divorce Care
Organize to assist those facing or recovering
from a divorce.
Grief Share
Support and information to help understand the
stages of grief due to the loss of a loved one.
Exodus Ministry
To help those who need assistance from the homosexual lifestyle and provide
support for the loved ones/family members.
Concerned Persons
Specifically designed for family members of those who abuse alcohol or
drugs, or codependent and cannot say no.
Mens Issues
Man Talk to deal with issues of life concerning men.
